This has been my most successful attempt at self-learning Japanese. I have been ‘diligently’ learning Japanese since June, albeit at an awfully slow pace. With my semester starting weeks after my internship I hardly had time for proper Japanese classes, instead I brought my Comprehensive Japanese book along with me to The Land of Cows, Cheese and Chocolates. Contrary to popular believe, my motivation for learning Japanese is NOT to court Japanese girls but to work in Japan.
Anyway, while chatting with Ryck on MSN, I was surprisingly pleased to know that he had a dream about me the night before. I wondered if I was a billionaire or something in his dream, instead Ryck told me I spoke perfect Japanese in my dream. Hallelujah. In the dream we were both at my house and were walking downstairs when my mom asked me something and I replied in perfect Japanese. Ryck then exclaimed ‘Whao, you learn jap quick!’.
Amen to that! I’m hoping this is some sign or prophecy from Abba

On another random note, I want to be a Samurai. While this is pure randomness, I do really want to learn Kendo or some other form of Japanese martial arts. Perhaps I could learn Kendo and speak in perfect Japanese while working in Japan. Daddy God, you make my dreams come true!
